Victory goes to…

Pirates? Ninjas? Neither? Both? We may never know, everyone left before it was announced. Regardless, everyone seemed to have a great time this year and the weather was fantastic to boot.

The final numbers were around the 520 mark, not a record but up there! We’ll be emailing around a camper survey within a month, if you could please submit only one per group it will help us to get feedback from the campers to improve the camp for future years.

A big thank-you goes once again to the awesome staff of Mardi Gras who did an amazing job of putting the camp together over the last year. I know after clean-up takes place Monday and Tuesday, we’ll all need a month of downtime before we start to sling around the ideas for next year’s camp.

Speaking of camp themes, don’t forget to hop over to the Rovent website and submit your theme idea! Also to note, the Rovent camp dates have changed because of the Olympics in January. See their site for more details.

Thanks again to all who came out to make Mardi Gras 2009: Pirates vs. Ninjas a great success, and we’ll see you at Rainbucket!
